this is where the saying goes

assalamualaikum.

alhamdulillah, dah masuk sem baru hampir lebih seminggu dah. setakat ni, semua lecturers are okay. walaupun, ada juga kelas yang masuk gamble je macam land sebab tak kenal lecturer, nevertheless it turns out to be not a wrong choice pun. alhamdulillah.

there are some juniors come to me and complaining how they turns out to be not in the group yang dorang nak sebab section closed. when i asked them what makes you guys feel so bad sebab terpaksa masuk kelas mdm tu? and jawapan common is,

" senior cakap madam ..... tu tak best "

again, judging a lecturer based on seniors' words is not a good thing. you have to be there, and judge them with your own intellect. as for me, there are some lecturers yang senior cakap tak best, tapi it turns out to me that they are the best. in fact, best gilerr.

lecturers who teach me criminal 1 and 2, ils 1, company 1 ( mdm yang ajar the second part) and my current land law 2 and pil 2, all of them mostly kalau tanya seniors mesti ramai yang tak suka. kenapa tak suka? sebab mereka perfectionist!

ramai yang tak tahu tapi kalau ada yang tahu, they'll think that im weirdo. but i do like lecturers yang perfectionist. sebab kadang-kadang lecturer macam ni, mereka keluarkan apa yang terbuku kat hati kita ni. contohnya, dalam hati saya selalu kutuk-kutuk orang yang lambat-lambatkan attendance and passed it not according to the exact row. but my criminal law 1 and 2 lecturers make it a rule for us to sit at the same place thru out the semester just to make the flow of attendance turns smooth.

as for notes, i always have some issue with this. the thing that i hate the most is student yang datang class but do nothing i.e tak salin notes. but my ils 1 lecturer make it compulsory for us to have a note book, yang mana dia akan selalu cek. macam sekolah, tapi saya suka okay. with this, my note book will not be borrowed and photocopied. please know that i hate this so much. please.

but this doesnt mean that im not selective when it comes to register my class. but the perfectionist thingy will not affect my judgment. what i care the most is their marking. lenient ke tak. heh.

sape yang tak nak lecturer lenient ye tak. it will influence your cgpa kott. but if that lecturer is committed and perfectionist, and strict in marking, i have no objection. sebab, dorang deserve nak strict in marking. ingat ada ke lecturer yang tak henti-henti buat kelas malam setiap selasa? bukan sebab nak kejar silibus yang tak habis tapi sebab nak ajar betul-betul. even if dorang strict, they deserve it. if you know who i mean ;)

so this is where the saying goes,

dont judge a book by its cover.


but in this context, it's more suitable with -

"dont judge the lecturer based on your senior's"
